The House of the Lord Church Bergen County

We declare with the psalmist, “I was Glad When They Said unto Me, Let us Go Into The House of the Lord.” These words are recorded in Psalm 122 and is also the testimony of all who worship here. You will find love, joy and peace when you come into The House of the Lord.

Our Presiding Prelate is the Reverend Leah D. Daughtry, former CEO of the 2008 and 2016 Democratic National Conventions and Rev. Dr. Herbert Daughtry, world renowned preacher and activist is our Presider Emeritus.

Our congregation is made up of people of all ages who share together in a unique blend of Christian service. We believe in a holistic ministry which presents a relevant presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which will not only help us get to heaven but will also point us to a meaningful and abundant life right here on earth. 

We invite you to share with us in the many activities of this holistic ministry where we loudly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the basic teachings of the Holy Scripture through comprehensive teaching, anointed preaching, vibrant worship and relevant programming, all of which is actualized through our Mission Statement which encompasses approaches which are priestly, pastoral, prophetic, pedagogic, programmatic and political.
